I also like screwing around in the Flanker, but my controls in the Flanker are actually mapped very close to the Mirage (In DCS you map controls per plane). For example in DCS I fly mostly the Mirage, so my controls are set up for that plane. It also makes it easier to adapt muscle memory to similar controls across different planes/ships/whatever. this makes no sense.", while it makes perfect sense to me because it's the way I've mapped controls since I started using a HOTAS. The way you and I group functions together may be very different, so if you loaded up one of my profiles you might think "WTF was this guy on. What I mean by that is my brain thinks in a certain way, and certain logical groupings of controls make sense to me (for example, weapon and targeting controls on the stick, engine and ancillary controls on the throttle).
